Conference Programme

Tuesday April 21st - Global Village

The Global Village at Euroweek 2026 will take place at/in XXXXX on Tuesday 21st of April 2026. It will start after pitch and poster presentation (see programme above).

  • In the morning on Tuesday, everyone has possibility to leave food or/and drinks in the fridge at the canteen (ground floor).
  • We suggest to bring as much food and drinks as you will consume (we prefer to not waste any food, think sustainable!).
  • Any country related decorations are welcome.
  • We will provide for every country a table for national food and drinks, a tablecloth, a knife and a cutting tray.
  • Strong drinks are not allowed (beer, wine and sodas are OK).

We are very much looking forward to "tasting" the mixture of cultures being a part of the Euroweek at the Global Village. But how so? If you haven´t yet experienced the concept of a Global Village – it´s like a culinary festival where different cultures meet …..and eat 😊! And how can you experience a different culture faster than by tasting it´s food?

How does it work?

To introduce your culture at the Global Village we invite you to bring some typical food and drinks (soda, beer, wine and cider = OK but important: no hard liquor should be served even if it´s a part of your culture). Please mind, that there are no cooking facilities – so bring something you can easily prepare "on spot".

Wednesday April 22nd - Didactic Forum

During Euroweek 2025 it was decided to arrange, for the first time in Euroweek history, the "Didactic Forum". During this half day conference, academics can share best practices in different didactic strategies and pedagical approaches in the class room.
